Our Story
TriStar Security Services was founded in 2021 by Brad Wilson, an Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper with nearly two decades of law enforcement experience. What started with a single contract at an industrial site in McAlester has grown into a multi-state security operation with 14–16 active contracts across Oklahoma and New Mexico.
Brad built TriStar on a simple idea: the people protecting your school, your hospital, or your business should be the same caliber of professionals you’d want responding to an emergency. That’s why every TriStar officer is either active law enforcement, retired law enforcement, or a military veteran — no exceptions.
TriStar currently employs over 50 security officers across both states, with a core team of 10–15 full-time officers embedded at schools and healthcare facilities. The company is fully licensed and insured in Oklahoma and New Mexico, with expansion into Missouri and additional states planned.

Tri-Star Security Services is a private security company based in Southeast Oklahoma. The company was founded in 2022 by Brad Wilson, an Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper with nearly 20 years of experience in law enforcement. Brad started Tri-Star Security Services with the goal of providing professional, cost-effective security to local communities — a mission that has since grown into providing armed and unarmed security services across multiple states. Tri-Star Security Services staffs every contract with officers who are active or retired law enforcement and military veterans, trained and certified in the most current security practices — including active shooter threat response — to deliver the highest level of protection to our clients.

Our Officers Are the Difference
We don’t hire warm bodies and put them in a vest. Every officer on a TriStar contract has law enforcement or military experience. Many are still active — working TriStar contracts alongside their primary agency. They bring training, situational awareness, and judgment that can’t be taught in a weekend course.
We Take Ownership
Our full-time officers are assigned to specific sites — your school, your hospital — and they stay there. They know the building, the people, and the routines. When something is off, they notice. Your contract isn’t a rotation of strangers. It’s a dedicated professional who treats your facility like their own.
We Train Your People, Too
Every long-term TriStar contract includes an annual active threat assessment and training session for your employees, faculty, or staff. Because security isn’t just about having an officer on site — it’s about making sure everyone in the building knows what to do if something happens.
